How to Measure Your Ring Size Correctly
Method 1|Using a Ring Sizer or Ring Gauge — Most Accurate!
If you have a ring sizer at home or can visit a jewelry store for measurement, this method is the most accurate.
When measuring, make sure the sizer passes smoothly over your knuckle and that the fit is comfortable—not too tight or too loose.
⸻
Method 2|Measuring an Existing Ring (if you already have a well-fitting ring)
-
Choose a ring that fits you perfectly.
-
Measure the inner diameter (mm) of the ring.
-
Refer to the ring size chart → find the corresponding international size.
⚠️ This method is fairly accurate, but make sure the ring is round and not deformed.
⸻
Method 3|Using a Paper Strip (Most Error-Prone — Not Recommended Alone)
If you don’t have tools on hand, you can use a paper strip as a temporary measurement and cross-check with a size chart.
Steps:
-
Wrap a non-stretchable strip of paper around the base of your finger.
-
Mark where the paper overlaps.
-
Flatten the paper and measure the length (mm).
-
Refer to the circumference (mm) on the size chart → find the international size.
⚠️ We still recommend cross-checking with Method 1 or 2 before placing an order.

⚠️ Six Important Tips for Accurate Ring Sizing
-
Measure in the afternoon or evening (when fingers are most natural).
Morning fingers are slimmer, evening fingers may swell. Measure 2–3 times at different times and take the average. -
Avoid measuring after exercise, hot showers, or alcohol consumption.
Fingers may swell and result in selecting a size too large. -
Ensure the ring can pass over your knuckle.
If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, choose a size that passes the knuckle comfortably. -
Ring width affects fit.
• Wide rings (5mm+) → consider increasing 0.5–1 size.
• Narrow rings (3mm or less) → standard size is usually fine. -
Left and right fingers may differ in size.
Measure the exact finger you plan to wear the ring on. -
Confirm units/sizing system consistency.
If referencing overseas sizes (US, JP, etc.), compare with our size chart before filling in your order.
